Atlas VPN is a "Freemium" vpn, that was aquired by Nord Security in October, 2021. This means you can use it for "free", but with a 5GB limit, which most users quickly use up. The app is very intuitive and easy to use. It doesn't come with a messy GUI and not a lot of features, making it a great option for people that aren't all tech, but still want to stay protected against cyber criminals.

Atlas VPN is located in the United States and has a strict no logs policy. The VPN does not collect user activity data, DNS queries,or other information that could be linked to a user.

Cons:
- They do not support VPN connections through routers or the OpenVPN protocol at the moment.
- BBC iPlayer, DAZN, Amazon Prime Video and 10Play are blocked.
- Serious Gamers will want to use servers close to their location.
- Dark Web does not work well. Super slow speeds, even when changing connection and identity.
- Do Not Track (DNT). DNT is the concept that has been promoted by regulatory authorities, in particular the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC), for the Internet industry to develop and implement a mechanism for allowing Internet users to control the tracking of their online activities across websites. Currently, we do not respond to DNT signals because no DNT standard has been adopted yet.

How to install Atlas VPN for Android:
- Step one: Install Atlas VPN App from Google Playstore.
- Step two: Register with you e-mail.
- Step three: Login, by clicking on the link sent to your e-mail inbox.
- Step four: Get familiar with the app.

Now first click on the shield icon and you will be notified of things that need your attention.
Enable Shield and Data Breach Monitor. The shield will only work when you are using the VPN. The Data Breach Monitor will scan different sources for data leaks and if your email is found in one, you will be notified of this.
Next step is clicking on the gift icon.
Here you can refer friends and get stats on how many people you referred.
Next step is to setup the VPN by clicking on the screw bolt icon.
You will see when your subscription ends and have several choices.
General contains four options:
Quick-connect, Auto-connect, Kill Switch and Shield. I recommend you activate Kill Switch.
VPN protocol:
Has only two options, fastest one is WireGuard, but IPSec/IKEv2 is safer to use.
Split-Tunneling:
Allows you to choose which apps will use or not use the VPN. Sometimes banks don't allow the use of a VPN.
App appearance:
Choose between light or dark mode.
Push notifications:
Allow or disallow.
