Ultra or ( Ultrapar Participações S.A. Brazil ) is a Brazilian company operating in the sectors of fuel distribution, through Ipiranga and Ultragaz in the production of specialty chemicals, through Oxiteno in the storage of liquid bulk, through Ultracargo and in pharmacies, through Extrafarma.
All of which are subsidiaries entirely controlled by Ultrapar holding.
The company is publicly traded under the name Ultrapar on São Paulo’s stock exchange (B3) and on New York’s (NYSE).
Ernesto Igel created the company back in 1937.
Ransomware:
The company's IT-systems was breached by the ransomware group Ransomexx2 in 2021 and it seems that Ultra did not pay any ransom, so the leak was published: 2021-01-24 on the hackers Dark Web leak site.
The site has had more than: 876000+ visits.
Leaked archive size is: 35.52GB, divided into 73 zip-files and password protected.
NOTE: Some hackers sit on the information for some time, most likely trying to use it for extortion and fraud. Then when they think the source is dry, they sell it cheap to other criminals online.
