Ministerio do Trabalho e Emprego - Hacked and Leaked Online 2022.
MTE stands for (Ministerio do Trabalho e Emprego), the leak is from February 2021 and the database is a sqlite3.db.
SQLite is a database engine written in the C programming language. It is not a standalone app, but rather, a library that software developers embed in their apps.
To confirm it is a SQLite3 database, you can use a HexEditor, like Bless for Linux.
For it to be easier to read and search through, you could export the data to a .csv file and then split it up with 500,000 records per each file, so you don't lock your computer ( Excel has a limit of just a little bit over one million ) or you can download and install DB Browser and search by name or CPF.
The MTE leak contains:
- Fields: ID
- CPF Brazilian (SSN)
- Name ( Nome completo )
- Birthday ( Aniversario )
- Mother's name ( Nome mae completo )
- Street; Number ( Rua & Numero da casa ou APT )
- Complement
- Neighborhood ( Bairro )
- City ( Cidade )
- State ( Estado )
- Zip Code (CEP)
It was originally sold for $100USD on one of the largest Hacker forums with a leak containg 9,145,152 people, but has now been released for free download.
This the same database that was sold back then, when it was first reported 2021 by DefCon-Lab.org.
Others have tried to get confirmation from MTE to confirm the leak originates from there, but it seems they have had no luck in getting answers.
